Known as Gosford Race Club, The Entertainment Grounds is the premier events location on the Central Coast. The Entertainment Grounds is an indoor and outdoor, multi-purpose community facility for functions, events, festivals, weddings, exhibitions as well as horse racing.
The Entertainment Grounds is the perfect venue for a variety of functions and events, with a multiple of flexible venues and spaces which can be tailored to suit every need. We’re honoured to welcome Naseema Sparks AM as our first special guest speaker for Ladies Race Day on Thursday 6 November!
Naseema Sparks is a senior businesswoman who’s career has been anything but predictable. At university she qualified as a pharmacist, then proceeded to specialise in consumer branding and marketing, eventually becoming Managing Director and Global Partner of Advertising agency, M&C Saatchi in Sydney.
She is currently a Chair and Independent director of several companies including fast growth technology companies. Current and past directorships include, The Entertainment Grounds, Gosford, KnightFrank Australia, AIG Insurance, Blackmores Ltd, Grays Online, amongst others.
Naseema was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia in 2016, for working to advance women in the workplace. She believes curiosity, resilience and creativity are important elements in life and career.
