Known as Gosford Race Club, The Entertainment Grounds is the premier events location on the Central Coast. The Entertainment Grounds is an indoor and outdoor, multi-purpose community facility for functions, events, festivals, weddings, exhibitions as well as horse racing.
The Entertainment Grounds is the perfect venue for a variety of functions and events, with a multiple of flexible venues and spaces which can be tailored to suit every need. With ample free parking and the finest in house caterers we will take all the hassle out of organising any next event or social function.

Gosford Barrier Trials: 28 August 2026
We head into our annual track renovations from Wednesday, 2 September 2026.
Our next race day and barrier trials will take place in October 2026.
It’s great to see 27 horses from the Kris Lees stable taking part in trials at Gosford today across our 16-trial program.
With horses spread across 11 of the 16 trials, it’s fantastic to see one of Australia’s leading trainers continuing to utilise the Gosford track as part of his stable’s preparation.
From open trials through to the maiden and 3YO events, there was plenty of young talent on show this morning 🐎
A big thank you to Kris Lees Racing for continuing to support Gosford, we love seeing the best in the business making the most of our track!
Previous Everest runner Mazu was back at the barrier trials at Gosford this morning, 30 August 2026. We caught up with trainer Joseph Pride, with Mazu putting in a fantastic run ridden by Ms Rachel King 🏇

Gates open at 12PM, with the first race kicking off at 12:50PM. We’ve got a full 8-race card lined up, so there’s plenty of racing action throughout the afternoon.

Meltdown Festival presents Rise Against with Dropkick Murphys + more

GOSFORD TRAINERS PREMIERSHIP UPDATE – 21st August 2026
Our trainers have been putting in some solid performances on the track this week. Here’s a look at a few of the runs that caught our attention over the past seven days.
On 13 August, at Newcastle, Mark Sues secured 4th place with Miss Binman in the Port Stephens 4WD Tours Midway Maiden Handicap. Kylie Gavenlock followed closely behind, finishing 5th with Zaddicted. At the same meeting, Adam Duggan finished 6th with Argyros in the Moonshadow TQC Cruises Class 1 Handicap.
On 16 August, Mark Sues was again in the placings, with Miss Binman finishing 4th in the Brian Hilton Wyong Class 1 Handicap at Wyong.
To round out the week, Kylie Gavenlock had a strong result at Hawkesbury on 20 August, with Parthenon finishing 2nd in the Micway Midway Class 1 Handicap.
Kylie Gavenlock continues to lead the Gosford Trainers Premiership with 1 win, while our other trainers are still looking for their first win of the season. With plenty of racing still ahead, we’re looking forward to seeing who can get on the board next!
